It is imprinted with simple activation instructions. To activate, immerse for 15 to 30 minutes in water until 90% inflated. Then, place in a refrigerator, on ice, in a plastic bag filled with ice, or inside a small refrigerator for 10 to 20 minutes to cool. Then, remove from ice or the refrigerator, gently squeeze to remove excess water, then place around your neck or forehead and rotate as necessary to help you cool off or maintain your cooling. Remove from neck for 10 minutes to allow it to cool naturally, or cool back in your cooler, refrigerator, or ice bag, or repeat the activation steps, as necessary. Hand wash with mild soap and running water after daily use, then well squeeze gently and towel dry 

Store it in a breathable plastic bag in your ice chest, refrigerator, or hang it to dry so that it can breathe naturally and return to its original condition in two to three days. And then repeat the steps as necessary. Avoid freezing to get the most use out of your cooling product, and never share a cooling product until it has been thoroughly cleaned and restored to its original state. Do not leave it in water or directly in ice for extended periods of time as the cooling product mass will increase with the water causing your product to over inflate.
