What Are Chill Factor Performance Products? |
Chill Factor Performance products are designed to cool your body, automobile, or animal pal for an increase in performance!!! When activated and cooled for shortly timed intervals before using, our products will retain temps just above freezing for extended intervals. Once the product is activated it will be between 10 to 20 degrees cooler than the outside ambient air temperature. The change in temperature varies depends upon the size of the product that you are using. Cool neckwear will typically be 15 degrees cooler than the surrounding air. When not using the products water will eventually evaporate as often as you use it needs to keep on being rehydrated with water and cleaned after usage.

As you wear it you rotate it around your neck rotating every 5 minutes....Once the product is activated with regular water temperature it will be between 20 to 30 degrees cooler than the outside ambient air temperature before any ice or refrigeration. Once it’s chilled in Ice or refrigeration for 30minutes or longer it will hold temperatures for about 45minutes. Then going back down to its 20 bellow the regular air temp. When not using any of chillfactorperformance products the water inside will eventually evaporate as often as you use it so keep it rehydrated with water. Cleaning after daily usage is important mild soap and running water. Never share your product with anyone unless it has been cleaned with disinfectant soap to prevent the spread of merca and other sport realted bacterias.
Store by hanging to dry on your review mirror. To store for daily use refrigeration in towels paper or fabric towels but try not to freeze this will make less uses out of your chillfactorperformance cooling products....

What is the Science Behind Chill Factor Performance Products? |
Our cooling products contain a super-absorbent water-activated water-retaining polymer gel that can keep hold of water for long periods. By regulating body / engine temperatures, our cooling products are guaranteed to cool and invigorated for extended periods before having to be re-cooled and refreshed. Our cooling products can retain low temperatures even in the heat of the sun’s harmful depleting ultraviolet rays. Our lines of cooling devices work on an evaporation principle. Cooled moisture is inducted onto the skins surface which enhances evaporation.
Evaporative cooling: For molecules of a liquid to evaporate, they must be located near the surface, be moving in the proper direction, and have sufficient kinetic energy to overcome liquid-phase intermolecular forces. Only a small proportion of the molecules meet these criteria, so the rate of evaporation is limited. Since the kinetic energy of a molecule is proportional to its temperature, evaporation proceeds more quickly at higher temperature. As the faster-moving molecules escape, the remaining molecules have lower average kinetic energy, and the temperature of the liquid thus decreases. This phenomenon is also called evaporative cooling. This is why evaporating sweat cools the human body. Our Products release cold moisture onto the skin’s surface which enhances the evaporation process, allowing cooling during strenuous work or outdoor activities. This is excellent for the body in a sports athletic condition to regain rapid cooling after a athletic condition. Or a rapid body heat temperature change to a person starting to go into heat illness condition. Keeping performance levels high when trying to keep cool. Our products are ideal for keeping automotive parts at a certain temperature or body temperatures from rising. This is excellent for the body in a heat illness condition.
Example: Your body is at 98 Degrees F. On a 60 degree-day the products temperature will be between 40-50 degrees before ice or refrigeration at all times. Once the products are placed in Ice or a Refrigerator they will get as cold as 38 degrees before they freeze. After the products are out of ice/refrigerator they will gradually cool back down to the 10-20 degrees bellow ambient air temperature all our products will release moisture either hot or cool depending upon how you use them.
